The professor including the one came from UK which was Prof. Kroto were by the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
Through the discovery of fullerenes, structural variations of this type have evolved well beyond the individual clusters themselves like buckyball clusters, nanotubes which are hollow tubes of very small dimensions having single or multiple walls, the mega tubes on which from the word itself means larger in diameter than nanotubes, the polymers, nano”onions”, linked “ball-and-chain” diners and the fullerene rings. Speaking of natural occurrence, this fullerene also is the most common because it can be found in soot.
