So you are getting ready to buy a bird and you want to make sure that you are able to afford the money that you are going to spend on the bird cage and all of the accessories that your feathered friend is going to need. The first thing that you want to do is to look for bird cage sale online. There are a lot of great places online that you can find a bird cage sale, especially on a site like Ebay. Ebay is a great place to find a small bird cage or a large bird cage, along with all of the accessories that your friend is going to want to have.
Shop Yard Sales
The second way that you can find a good bird cage sale is by looking at yard sales. People sell all kinds of things at yard sales, and you may just be able to find what you are looking for by going to a neighbor’s yard sale. Do not discount yard sales – you never know what you are going to find there and you can usually get a good price.
Retail stores
The third place that you can find a good price on a small bird cage is at retail stores. Depending on the time of year, pet stores are going to be trying to sell their bird cages, and if you buy the small bird cage in the same store that you bought your bird you may be able to get a discount. At the very least you can ask the pet store what type of bird cage they will suggest for the type of bird that you are buying.
When you are looking for a bird cage sale, there are a couple of things that you should keep in mind.
? Bigger is better – when in doubt, buy a cage that is bigger than you think you will need. It’s better for it to be too big than to be too small.
? Check the spacing – you want to make sure that your bird’s head won’t get caught in between the bars but that they are close enough together so that the bird can climb on them.
You don’t have to spend a fortune on your bird’s cage, as long as you know where to look to get a good price. When you shop smart and look around, you can get a good price on a good cage that your bird is going to love. Take some time and shop around for the small bird cage or large bird cage that you are looking for, and you are going to find that having a bird doesn’t have to be expensive. You will find that the time you spend looking around is going to be time well spent.
