Pump Marineland
is a 10 watt heater safe to use for 1.5 gallon betta tank?
Hi, I have a 1.5 gallon betta aquarium. It is filtered and has an air pump. But, I need to get a heater and I saw one at big als. It is a marineland stealth shatterproof mini heater that is 10 watts. Its says it can be used for aquariums UP TO 3 gallons.Can I adjust it to a temperature and can i use it for my aquarium?
Your Betta shouldn’t even be in a tiny “aquarium” like that. He should be in a 5 gallon. I’m not even sure how you’d fit that heater in there leaving enough room for him to be happy.
Not to mention in a tank that small temperature is going to fluctuate like crazy with or without the heater, which is going to stress your betta.
