why does the water level in my fish tank going down by about 4 centimeters?
i hav the “penn-plax smallworld pump and filter kit” and with the water level going down a bit, the water level goes below the place where the bubbles come out and prevents the filter from cleaning the water..do they drink the water or somethin? (i hav a 1 gallon tank with two goldfishes in it [ please do not complain about the one gallon part or i will report u]) please giv me serious answers!!
its natural evaporation. I’d say it might be your pump was to powerful and blowing water out of the tank but I doubt it on a penn plan air pump. How often is it going down? Thats important. If it’s every other day or so thats not really uncommon. Just get used to topping it off. it’s a chore vut it’s part of having a tank. Good luck
