Just candled budgie eggs?
I am watching over my friends budgies (male and female) and there eggs. They have four. She asked me to candle them today, there a little over two weeks. I candled them, and there are some worrisome things.
Two of the eggs are fine. They look ready to hatch in the next two weeks or so. They already have their air cells, and I can see their little heads and bodies. The last one laid is getting its veins, and that looks fine.
The second-to-last one worried me. Half of the egg looks clear, infertile, empty. Its just hollow. But on the other end, it has all of the veins, and I think I might see a body. Is this normal? is it just the air cell? It looks a little big to be the air cell.
The other are fine, its just that second-to-last that worried me. My friend never told me when they were laid.
